This painting was inspired by a memory I have of walking through the streets of the old neighborhood called Trastevere in Rome. I wasn’t having much luck finding a yoga class, but then I looked in through an archway and found an opening. 20 x 20 on canvas, framed. $800

A flurry is a light snowflake that doesn’t accumulate on the ground. They can appear out of nowhere when we least expect it and blanket the world and here, these birds, in quiet beauty. In my family, when we dress up, we don’t wear diamonds, we put on our best turquoise and silver. I painted this when I got home from my grandma’s funeral with her favorite Frank SInatra blasting and a beautiful turquoise jewelry box in front of me that I received to remember her. 16 x 20 Mixed media on wooden board  $700
